College
College is just right around the corner. In seven short months I will be moving out of my house, into a college dorm. College is something that I am very excited for. I am looking forward to making new friends and living life on my own. Over the past two months I have been picking out my dorm and roommate. The process was a little scary at first, but now I’m just excited. I have been with my family for the past 18 years, but now it is time to be out on my own. The college of my dreams is Clarion University. It is a small college with an average of 28 students per class. Clarion is my dream school because it is small and in a nice community. Growing up in a small town, I did not want a major change when going to college.
The one downfall about Clarion is all the snow they get. I am a person who loves to be warm and going outside in the summer. At Clarion, they get snow most of the time and the temperature is almost always in the single digits. However, I am willing to make this change for the next four years of my life. Even though it will not be as warm as I would like, I know that I will have fun and make a lot friends.
With all of the excitement about college, there is some nervousness. I am very nervous about having to make new friends and my classes. With going to such a small high school, I have grown up with everyone in my grade. We have known each other for many years, making it easy to become friends. Going somewhere new is always scary, but I hope that I will do fine.
I am super excited for college and ready to move on. Everyone has to experience life on their own at on point, and I am ready to take on the challenge.
