Fantasy
Science fiction and fantasy are my two favorite genres. Those two genres have always been my two favorites. I was never into romance books. I do own books have could fall under the genre of romance, but they are mainly science fiction or fantasy. Books that fall under these genres are so unique and different from other books. There are futurist aspects, weird creatures, powers people only dream of actually having, etc. Out of the two I would have to say that fantasy is my favorite genre because of the creatures and magic sometimes.
There have been times where I have thought about what it would be like to live in a fantasy book. I think of what it would be like to live in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin, The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. It would be so amazing to live in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. There would be hobbits, dwarves, and elves. Harry Potter would also be a good book series to live in. I think it would be pretty amazing to have a wand and be able to do magic. I would be doing spells and hexes left and right.
A Game of Thrones would be scary to live in, but also pretty interesting. There be a lot of death, diseases, and darkness. But depending on where someone lives in the book would determine if it would be nice to live there or not. I would personally live in the woods with Jojen and Meera Reed. Narina has always been one of my favorite places, along with Wonderland, Neverland, and Oz. I love the different creatures in the book. There are Minotaurs, satyrs, centaurs, etc. Ever since I was little The Chronicles of Narnia has been one of my favorite series of books. Narnia has always been one of my favorite fantasy places.
I have had countless dreams where I lived in a fantasy place. Fantasy has been my favorite type of genre ever since I could read. The creatures and fantasy places (Narnia, The Shire) have been my favorite parts of fantasy books.
