Tennessee Ready
Tennessee is where I will be spending the next four years of my life. I know the transition from going to high school in Pennsylvania to going to college in Tennessee will be a little difficult, but I know I can get through it. Some people choose to stay at home, or close to home when they go to college. I would rather go to a different state and live in an area much different from what I am used to.
There are people who do not like change. I am not one of those people. I think change is a good thing. It is nice to switch things up every once in awhile, whether that be something new you try (to eat, wear, do, etc.), a new place you go to, or a personal change (attitude, behavior, personality, etc.). Going to school in Tennessee will be a big change. The area, people, and atmosphere of Cleveland will be so new to me.
After college, I plan to stay in Tennessee. There are so many things I love about that area. For me, it is the perfect place to live. Sometimes I wish there was a fast forward button in life so I could fast forward to be graduating college and getting a nice little place in Tennessee.
Even though I will be very far away from home, I will not be as lonely as some would think. My oldest brother, JR, has bought property near Lee University. If I ever miss my family I can drive up to his house and visit. Not only will be brother and his wife be close to me, my aunt Darlene lives a few hours away from Lee University in Georgia.
It is nice to know that whilst I am going to school at Lee, family will not be too far away from me.
