Moana is one of the Disney princess that I fell in love with immediately. Moana is the daughter of a chief of the village and she is next in place to take the spot. They live on an island and are not allowed to go past the line of water that separates the crystal clear skies and the ocean.
Moana asks why they can’t go past the line and tries to break the rules and go past the line. If I were her I would ask the same questions and push the limits. She takes a raft and goes but soon realizes what she was in for when the waves crash down and she gets blown into a storm and gets dried up on another shore other than the island. She meets a fellow islander and he tries to escape and trap her to take her raft, he is the guy who created the earth. This would be super weird to me almost as if I were dreaming, if I were to meet a guy stranded on an island who is claiming to be the creator of the world I would be skeptical.
She finds out he stole the heart from Tafiti and he must take it back to return the world back to normal from the dark power taking over the world. They go on a mission to go and return the heart by defeating the evil monsters. They succeed and return the heart, which makes for a really exciting plot line in my opinion. They return to Moana’s village. She tells her dad the stories and he decides that they can once again be voyagers. In the end it makes for a happy story and it shows them maturing and becoming friends. This is definitely one of my top 5 favorite Disney movies.
