Student Aides
Class aids are a big help here at Jefferson Morgan. They help with anything a teacher may need when they are busy and or are behind. Aids spread all over this school, everything from gym aids to teacher aids. The aids are mostly seniors because they have almost all of their credits for graduation, but they need a couple of things to do for empty periods. This gives teachers all over the school an advantage of their own.
Aids help teachers with what they need. They can grade tests, if they are gym aids they can clean everything up, and if they are art aids they can help people with their work. There is a wide variety of different aids and things to do. A student can use that period as well for a study hall to get work done and get caught up in other daily classes. Some seniors have jobs so extra time to do school work is a good advantage because after school they have limited time.
Gym aids are one of the most popular aids because of the activities that go on. They are a loud to join in and help out with anything that Mr. Samel needs. A different aid is assigned for a different class period. The aids in the gym are most responsible for helping Mr. Samel put everything up and taking it all down. All the balls need to be gathered up after class and any other equipment that was used. Some periods for gym there are two aids and some only one. Mr. Samel can use all of the help he can get.
Aids are very helpful to all of the teachers. There are not just gym, office, and art aids. Teachers in all classes have someone to help them out with their work that needs caught up on while they teach to students. This has just started last year with students going everywhere for aids other than the gym or the office. It has been going very smoothly because everyone can use a helping hand.
