Seniors

Every student is different when it comes to the fourth nine weeks. Some students just want to graduate and move on with their lives, but some don’t want to leave Jefferson Morgan. Twelve years of school are almost over and our journey into the real world is about to begin. The teachers have prepared us for what is about to come and they hope that seniors are ready. Some students may not paid attention in school, but teachers cannot hold their hand through it all. Students have to meet them half way in order to be successful.

When graduating we start our lives as adults. Everything that we have done from kindergarten through 12th grade is reflected on our future. Grades are an important factor for colleges and jobs. Transcripts can tell if a student is a hard worker or a slacker. Seniors may not think the work they have completed was important, but it will help them. Reading helps their concentration skills, math helps with working out problems, and science helps with how things came to be. Everything helps young adults become successful in the future.

“I enjoyed my time at Jefferson Morgan and I do not want to grow up. I will miss this place when I leave, but I will look back on it in the future”, Cameron Celaski said.

We as seniors are running out of time. The fourth nine weeks has begun and the countdown is almost on. Even though it is the fourth nine weeks, it is not the time to give up. Seniors have to work hard to the end to get the grades that will help them. Once we leave there will be no more tests, no more finals, and no more looking forward to moving up next year.

“I am going to miss making memories and seeing my friends five days a week. I feel that I am prepared for the future and ready to take on any task that I will come to find”, Jakob Bissett.

Seniors have reached the peak of high school. Our time is almost over, but we still have to try hard to succeed. We have made it all the way here, but we can look on the times we have had at Jefferson Morgan. It is time to work hard all the way to the end so that way we will be ready when time comes to an end as seniors.
