Be Buzzy With A Bee!

We got our Jefferson Morgan Beekeeper who has been checking up on our JM Hive. On March 6th, 2024, Spring has finally back with a rainy one. The Hive is off to a slow start but uses winter patties that our beekeeper provided at the last visit.  The Queen is laying some eggs and gets caught by the beekeeper to put a red dot so we know which is the Queen.

At the next visit, he hopes to see more pollen and brood and soon will have to manage the Hive against swarming. In conclusion, the bees are doing a little rough after our Winter season but as the Spring season comes in the Bees should be able to enjoy the weather and have more pollen.
