Mr. Robinson is the new Assistanct Principal at Jefferon-Morgan High School.
To prepare for this job, Mr. Robinson has taken classes and assumed as many leadership roles as he could. As a sophomore in college, Mr. Robinson set a goal of becoming a principal. After five years of teaching, that includes three years at Jefferson-Morgan’s Elementary School and one year of 6th grade math and one year of Autistic Support at Trinity Area School District.
“My favorite thing about JM is the pride of students, staff, and community shows for the school. Being part of a small school has its advantages. The pride in the school, and knowing everyone is a great advantage,” said Robinson.
Mr. Robinson would like to grow as an administrator and learn as much as possible along the way. His current role as an assistant principal is to help out as much as he can as well as making sure things run smoothly.
When asked about his advice for students reaching their goals, he said, “Don’t let anyone ever tell you that you cannot succeed. Use it as motivation to prove everyone wrong. There is no better feeling than doing something people said you could not. Do not let failure put you down. Everyone fails at some point, and it is what you learn from the failures that count.”
