On Friday, September 25, the Jefferson-Morgan Rockets earned a hard fought victory over the California Trojans with a score of 13-8.

Jakob Bissett ran in a 9-yard touchdown for the Rockets first six points. The Rockets maintained a 7 point lead until the fourth quarter when the Trojans scored a touchdown and converted for two. With 4:46 left in the game, Trevor Kniha ran in the 30-yard winning touchdown for the Rockets. Kniha had 12 carries rushing for 71 yards and Joe Headlee gained 142 yards on 28 carries.
