Tuff Puff
There was a volleyball game called Tuff Puff on Friday, November 20th at 8 pm. The game was hosted by Carmichaels.
There were two games played, one being an alumni game and the other was a boy’s game.
“Tuff Puff was fun, it was a great experience for everybody,” said Will Fath.
The first game was the Jefferson-Morgan alumni against the Carmichaels Alumni.
“I really enjoyed coaching the boys. It was a great opportunity to show the boys what us volleyball players do,” said Camryn Dugan.
The second game was the Jefferson-Morgan boys team grades 9-12 against the Carmichaels boys team.
“It was a good time getting to play Carmichaels one last time. Having the girls coach us after we coached them for Powder Puff was really fun. It was fun being out on the court to see what the volleyball players go through,” said Dalton Fowler.
The Jefferson Morgan boys’ team ended up coming out with the win. The boys won over the Carmichaels boys 2-1.
“I think the guys had lots of fun. I had a great time coaching them to their victory. It was fun to cheer them on after the months of them cheering the volleyball team on,” said Morgan Simkovic.
The money that was raised benefited both Jefferson-Morgan’s volleyball boosters as well as Carmichaels. The money will be split in half between the two schools.
Both volleyball games had a great turn out.
