Jefferson Morgan has seen some big changes this school year. The auditorium is being remodeled and we finally have air conditioning! But among big changes like that we have also been given a pretty interesting option early in the morning.

With the start of the new school year we were treated with a nice surprise, in the morning students will be able to purchase stuff from a mobile concession stand. The stand offers various snacks like pop tarts and donuts, but were it really pulls in the students is the coffee and tea. When asked about how he feels about the coffee, Camden Maskil said, “The coffee is pretty good, “I’m happy that they gave us the choice for the morning”. Camden likes to treat himself to a cup of coffee with vanilla flavoring and 3 creamers. “Yes, I believe it i a great addition in the morning. It helps me stay awake through the school day,” Camden said after being asked does he think the coffee is a good change to the morning schedule.

And with the inclusion of coffee in the mornings, students will also be able to quench their thirst with a variety of tea offered during homeroom and lunch. With the coffee keeping some students awake the school is also offering a great selection of different tea for the thirstiest of school goers. When asked about what he thinks of the implementation of the new drinks, Dustin Shimansky had this to say. ‘I think the coffee and tea is absolutely fantastic, it’s a great way to start of the morning.” He seems to think like a lot of the students as in the morning students are flying to get their fill of coffee and tea.

From what the students are seeing the school really hit it big with the inclusion of these drinks and they should keep it going with more additions to the section.
