On October 20th is senior night for the Jefferson Morgan Varsity Volleyball Team.

The girls play West Greene home starting at 7:00 pm. Thursday is not only senior night but it is the game that determines whether or not that they go on to playoffs.

“This is my last year and could be my last game. I want to go out with a bang and beat West Greene and go onto playoffs,” said captain Jamie Lawrence.

The Lady Rockets lost, 3-0, to West Greene the last time they played them. Emotions are going to be high since there is so much on the line. Seniors will say goodbye to their fellow teammates, fans, and coaches after the game.

“I can’t believe this is my last year playing volleyball. The main thing I am going to miss the most is being on the court with my friends,” said other captain Erin Confortini.

For the first rotation of the game all seniors will start the first game. After getting some playing time the coaches will make some changes and get the normal players in. Senior night is about making your last game special and going 100% every minute of the game.
