High school is a very important part of our lives. It is the building block for our future. For example high school teaches us very important skills and attributes that will be key to our success later in our lives. And if we don’t apply ourselves in school, we will not take full advantage of school and the many things it has to offer.

Weather we go to college or we go straight to the working field it is still important to go school. For example, in life today, anyone who wants to go out and do anything has to know how to read, communicate well, and be able to do basic math. If we do not try in school and learn these things we will not be able to use them in our future. I believe that everything we do should be done with excellence.

When applying for a college or a job, your high school records will be looked at. For example, an employer might look at your attendance and colleges thinking about accepting you will look at your grades. Say you and another student are competing for a spot in college, the college will accept the student with the better grades and attendance. Not to mention, the job will want the person who showed up to school more. High school, like I said, helps define our future so we should do the best that we possibly can to get the maximum results.
