This Generation uses technology different than those of the previous generation; generations such as Z and Y are the big factors here.

Generation Z (1990-Now) grew up in the technological age where people can’t do anything without their technology and a computer for help. Generation X (Late 1940’s and early 1960’s) and Generation Y(1970’s-1980’s) are the generations that grew up without a whole lot of technology. These are the generations that grew up doing everything the hard way and without the help of computers, calculators, or the internet. Now in the time of generation Z, if you don’t know something and would like to find out more information you would either search for it on the internet via Google, Bing, Yahoo, or any other search engine. By doing so the search engine will take you to page where all you information is right in front of you. In earlier generations if you needed information on a subject or for any kind of project all your information was available to you at the library. There at the library you would find a book that you needed for a specific topic and would scan through it looking for your information. Now in the current generation this is considered to be obsolete since you can just Google search your questions now.

In conclusion the way that the different generations use technology in their daily lives is very different. Beside search engines and internet. Technology such as video games and smartphones are pieces of tech that generation has either used or currently is glued too. Almost everyone in generation Z has used a computer in the past 3 days according to Wikipedia. In X and Y generations these people were grown up on more do-it-yourself morals where now we need help to do basic things.
