Eatin’ Good in the Neighborhood!
Applebee’s is always a great family option to get delicious entrees for a decent price. The chain began operation in 1980 and, with more than 1,700 restaurants within the U.S., continues to serve mainstream American dishes and fulfill their slogan, “Eatin’ Good in the Neighborhood.”
Applebee’s is a bar and grill restaurant with ranging seating options. When weather permits, you can find a seat outside, or you can settle for a booth, table, or bar seat. For sport fanatics, oftentimes you can find a television streaming the latest sports games.
I recently visited a local Applebee’s with my oldest sister, Makayla. We were greeted at the door by an employee who then escorted us to our extremely comfortable booth seating. While we sat and talked with our waitress, our drink orders were taken, and my sister and I sat and laughed as we searched through the menu. When it came time to order, I decided to get the Classic Combo, which is considered an appetizer that comes with boneless wings, spinach and artichoke dip, chicken quesadilla, and mozzarella sticks. I chose classic buffalo as my wing flavor with a side of house-made ranch, and I also got marinara sauce to dip my mozzarella sticks in.
After some time spent talking and waiting, the food was finally on its way out from the Neighborhood kitchen, and we were starving! As the waitress sat our food down, I could instantly smell the savory buffalo wings. My meal looked immaculate, and it was time to dig in! My favorite part of my meal was that there were so many things included in the Classic Combo that I never got bored with what I was eating. The service was spectacular. Whenever my drink would seem almost empty, the waitress came to our table and refilled our glasses, and we assured her that the meal tasted great.
I think everyone should go to an Applebee’s when they get the chance. The food choices are close to endless, so there is something for everyone. Whomever goes will not be disappointed with the service, food, or atmosphere. Families and friends will be satisfied with their experience.
