Sorry, there was an error loading this poll.

For years McDonald’s has had the returning drink every St. Patrick’s Day season with there signature “Shamrock Shake”. The “Shamrock Shake” is a mint flavored milkshake with green food coloring. This shake has been a fan favorite for years. The shake was invented in 1967 and has been available around St. Patrick’s Day every year since and has been deemed a classic in the in McDonald’s history. This is a classic for me to have at least once a year. I enjoy mint flavored things so for me it’s the only frozen drink I get at McDonald’s.

Starbucks created not 1 but 2 St. Patrick’s Day themed drinks. The have named them the “Lucky Leprechaun Frappucchino ” and the “Shamrock Cappuccino” these drinks are both made with a matcha tea base and are both iced or frozen drinks. Like the “Shamrock Shake”, they are only available during the St. Patrick’s Day season. These items are not on the menu, but can be a special order made with no additional fees. I personally don’t like the taste of matcha, so this will definitely not be on my order this year,

Dunkin’ Donuts also has specialty drinks made during the St. Patrick’s Day holiday. Just like McDonald’s the drink is available on the menu for a limited time. This drink is offered every year and is another favorite among the consumers. They named the drink “Irish Creme”, which is a flavored coffee. The coffee is inspired form the classic liqueur. The coffee is a sweet creme and vanilla tasting drink that will only be offered for a few weeks and be discontinued until next year. This drink sounds really good and I want to get it before they stop making it.
