Texas Roadhouse is known for its complimentary rolls and cinnamon butter. Texas Roadhouse has a best-selling appetizer called the “Cactus Blossom”. People usually follow that up with a steak, ribs, or country-fried chicken with a side of a baked potato, macaroni and cheese, or a salad. Texas Roadhouse has many more options on its menu than what I listed. However, Texas Roadhouse has a fun Western atmosphere, which some people enjoy but some people hate. Some people do not like the loud music or singing. Texas Roadhouse pays its workers fifteen dollars on average, not including tips.
Outback Steakhouse is a huge competitor to Texas Roadhouse. Outback is especially known for its high-quality steaks. Outback’s best-selling item is its sirloin steak. Some of Outback’s commonly bought sides are mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, and macaroni and cheese. Outback employees do get paid about a whole two dollars more, estimated at around seventeen dollars. However, many complaints are made about getting food poisoning from Outback Steakhouse.
