People’s mindsets shift and alter, especially through maturity. A few alterations could be depression, suppression (meaning the act of suppressing one’s feelings) and anxiety, which can lead to nervousness. However, an app called Sincerely- Off My Chest recently brought calmness and relaxation to the struggling. This distinct app associates with feelings/emotions and communicates with random people regardless of the location. Unfortunately, Sincerely is designed for iPhones, meaning other brands like Android can’t access the app, however, for Android users, a similar app was published. Although the app is identical, there are various features Sincerely has that others don’t.
As stated previously, the app Sincerely has multiple features. Some of the features include sending, receiving, and reacting to letters. What’s unique about this app is that whether the users are sending or receiving a letter, there’s an option to be “anonymous.” This feature is valuable for some people because it shields and protects their identity. Another feature, which has not been stated, is connecting and befriending others. Although this feature is universal, people can’t directly send messages through letters, however, with every letter he/she reads, he/she has a chance to add the presenter, allowing them both to connect. Additionally, the app has no “premium features,” meaning that none of the features cost money, which is a bonus for everyone.
Replying to the struggling, this app was created for them, however, this app is globally welcoming, meaning regardless of mental illness(s), people are encouraged to accommodate with the app. Despite Sincerely benefiting globally, people with mental illnesses obtain certain essentials beyond the standard limit, meaning the “lowly” benefits better than others, or simply said, those who seek the app for its features, or the nurturing feeling of being seen, heard, and accepted.
Lastly, the app does have a few downsides, depending on the perspective and expectations of the user, however, the features are more profound, meaning with every click and type, the users won’t feel like they’re in a maze while they explore the app. Similarly, an app called Feelings Finder was published. This app connects with Sincerely like a best friend, meaning both apps cater to one another, making the process smoother. Although Sincerely has a similar app, there are other better apps, however, the finder can only support that claim depending on what he/she’s pursuing/looking for.
Overall, the app offers valuable features and a supportive, understanding, and compassionate community for those who seek/desire it. Two ways people can find the app is through, depending on the brand of the phone, Apple Store/Play Store.
