The Covered Bridge Festival has come to an end and here are some things that happened on September 16th-17th.
Ganards Ford Covered Bridge Festival and the Carmichael Covered Bridge Festival were two very common festivals that people attend around Greene County. It has so many different vendors to choose from. For example, they have a business that wants to put up a booth as well as different churches and they sell things like cups, food, bakery stuff, etc. These two festivals always have so many people that come and it is always a good turnout!
The Greene County Fair Queen, Adysan Kern, went to the Covered Bridge Festivals and had some things to say. She said, “Well I went to three Covered Bridge Festivals that weekend as the Greene County Fair Queen. I enjoyed all of them and seeing all the talented vendors set up. My favorite would have to be the one near Ganard Ford though because everyone made me feel welcomed, and they had a reenactment. We also got to ride in a golf cart from the parking lot to the festival.”
As you can see our Greene County Fair Queen truly enjoyed the Covered Bridge Festivals! There will be other Covered Bridge festivals around PA, so keep a look out!
