The junior class at Jefferson-Morgan attended the annual college fair in California on Tuesday, October 17th.
The college fair took place at PennWest University in California. Students in 11th grade attended the fair on Tuesday during periods 1-4. At the fair, a variety of colleges as well as tech students represented their respective schools.
“I thought it was a very helpful for students to get an idea of what college they want to go to,” said Jacie Manning.
People from locations such as La Roche, Youngstown, West Liberty, Waynesburg, and many others represented their respective schools and they each had their own designated tables. This allowed schools to talk to representatives of these schools and had access to different brochures and other information laid out for them. Some even had scholarship information as well.
“I was very interested at multiple schools, but Gannon in particular,” said Elisabeth Hollerich.
Students had a great time at this college fair. They were able to learn more in depth about different schools with information coming from the people who are from there themselves.
