  • March 21, 2025 marks the end of the third grading period. There will be no school on that day.
  • School will be in session on Monday, February 17, 2025 as a snow make-up day.

The College Trip to IUP

On Wednesday, March 19, Mr. McGrath’s College & Career class visited Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).

“It was really nice; the dorms were good, and the overall experience was good. I will apply.” Shane Lyttle, a junior and student in Mr. McGrath’s College & Career, said when asked about his experience on the tour. Mr. McGrath’s class toured the campus a little bit before sitting in on a presentation presented by one of the admissions staff. After that, they toured some more before finally eating in the dining hall.

“The dorms were extremely nice; they were the nicest dorms I’ve seen.” Junior student Joey Bair replied when asked about his experience at the tour. IUP offers many suite-style dorms as well as some traditional-style dorms. Overall, IUP offers quality dorms at an excellent price since they are a state school.
