Rockin’ around the Christmas tree!
A Christmas tradition that my family participates in is called The Memory Tree. My family over the years bought ornaments from places we have traveled. Every night at 7:00 PM my dad makes a buffet filled with different foods. For example, he makes mac and cheese, buffalo chicken dip, etc. We sit down and eat while listening to Christmas music. Once my family and I are done eating my brother and I start hanging ornaments on the tree and talk about which ornament was from and what’s the history behind the ornament.
The Memory Tree is my family’s favorite tradition. Every year we get a new ornament to represent what we have done over the years. It is a tradition that my family will never stop doing.
If you want to start The Memory Tree tradition with your family I would recommend it. This tradition helps with coming together with family and talking with each other about their own memories.
