Jefferson Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Grace Black as its January student of the month.

Daughter of Billie and Zachery Black of Waynesburg, Black is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 3.6 GPA.

Black is drum major of the JM Rocket Band and previously served as field conductor. She is president of both the Art Club and the Library Club.  She is Social Media Coordinator of the Drama Club.  Last year, Black was recognized for hand-made props for the Drama Club’s Spring show, “Little Shop of Horrors.”

She is a member of Leo Club and PAC.

After Graduation, Black plans to attend PennWest California University where she will major in graphic design and minor in digital media technology. In the future, she hopes to become an animator for Universal, Hasbro, or possibly even Disney.
