Chocolate is For Lovers
On February 14th, Valentine’s Day, also known as Saint Valentine’s Day, is celebrated each year. It originated as a Christian feast day which honored two early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine.
With the celebration of Valentine’s Day, there are often traditions such as gift giving, going on dates, and giving candy to one another. However, one specific tradition is the giving of chocolates due to the myths behind it. It is believed that chocolate has a substance which increases desire and makes one more accepting to romance.
