Most people tend to talk about Christmas day, but not enough talk about the fun that comes on Christmas Eve. Many people celebrate Christmas Eve in many different ways. A lot of people will wear matching pajamas, wrap all their presents, go caroling, and countless other fun activities; it all depends on who you and your family are.

Christmas Eve is very underrated. First of all, you’re excited the whole day for the next day. The wait is almost over and once you wake up in the morning, it’s Christmas! In my household, everyone opens one present on Christmas Eve night. We all know that it ends up being pajamas, but it’s still very fun. And everyone always looks forwards to new pajamas to wear on Christmas Day. Even my pug gets to open a present–he gets a brand new sweater! Another thing we love to do is watch Christmas movies as a family. Some classics include “Home Alone”, “A Christmas Story”, and “Christmas Vacation”. These are just some movies that’ll never get old at all.

Overall, Christmas Eve is overlooked by a lot of people and there are so many activities that can be done to build up even more anticipation for Christmas day! It’s definitely one of the days of the year that I look forward to the most.
