The meaning of traditions is the transmission of customs or beliefs from generation to generation or the fact of being passed on in this way. My traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation is the memory tree and this memory tree has a bunch of ornaments that I have had in my past.
Every year I get an ornament from somewhere I have been over the summer on vacation, or something that I have learned (for ex. learning how to drive a car). I started them when I was born a baby and still going strong at 15 years old. Some of my favorite ornaments that I got were one from New York City, The Capitol, my 1st Christmas, and painting my hand on an ornament when I was 5 years old. Every time we do this, we have my Nan come up and watch us put them on the tree and have an amazing dinner. We talk about what we remember from when we got the ornament and just enjoy life.
