Jefferson-Morgan High School has their own National Honor Society group. Officer elections are coming up in March, but currently, the president is Adysan Kern; the vice president is Eric Basiorka; their secretary is Jenna Cyr; and their treasurer is Jacie Manning.
National Honor Society sponsor Mrs. Huba will pass out the stoles to senior members soon for graduation.
Members of NHS are encouraged to attend the upcoming events. The first upcoming event is in March, and it’s the Math Madness Community Night at the elementary. It’s the 7th of March, 6 PM to 8 PM, which is on a Thursday. NHS members are assigned to face paint for the kids, and any other odd jobs they’re needed for.
The second upcoming event is April 13, a Saturday. It’s the annual Autism Walk, and it’s hosted at the high school. It’s from 12 PM to 2 PM. The National Honor Society members who attend will be selling water and gatorade for the people participating in the event.
