On March 5th, the students of Jefferson-Morgan’s Library Club attended the reading competition at Buhl Hall.
The competition took place in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, March 5th at the Buhl Hall. Hosted by the Greene County library system, students from our school competed against other schools by answering various literature questions.
“There was an increase in teams this year and I’m happy to see that more kids are becoming interested in reading,” said Jacie Manning, an attendee of the event.
At the competition, there were teams composed of 4-8 students. The students had read 10 books throughout the school year to prepare for the event. They were split by elementary school, middle school, and high school.
“I had a lot of fun at the competition and thought it was really cool,” said Eric Basiorka.
The members of the Jefferson-Morgan Library Club had a great time at the competition on Tuesday, where they saw a lot of success.
