The week of May 6th through May 10th is Teacher Appreciation Week throughout the United States.
The Jefferson-Morgan School District celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week by spoiling the teaching staff in the high school, middle school, and the elementary school. The week started off with student council providing lunch for staff members. Another meal provided by the principals was a cookout to end the week. Mr. Loring and Mr. Hildreth cooked hot dogs and hamburgers on a grill for the teachers.
“I love teacher appreciation week because I get see get teachers the reward they deserve,” said Elsa Roberts
The teachers were gifted a JM Rocket stainless steel water bottle. The bottle has the Jefferson-Morgan slogan, “Whatever it takes” in a matte gray.
By the end of the week, we hope all the teachers had a good week and were treated respectfully and kindly, which goes for all school year. We appreciate all the teachers do for us students to make our lives better every day and pass on their wise knowledge.
