  • Join in the madness: Math Madness. JM Elementary gym on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 6-8pm.
  • Dress to Impress will be held in the gym on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 10am until 2pm. This event is open to the public.
  • The first day of spring is Thursday, March 21, 2025.
  • March 21, 2025 marks the end of the third grading period. There will be no school on that day.
  • School will be in session on Monday, February 17, 2025 as a snow make-up day.

The Bituminous Coal Show Pageant

The Pennsylvania Bituminous Coal Show will be held August 16 through August 23, 2025 with the Coal Queen Pageant taking place in the Stan Ferek III Auditorium at Carmichaels Area High School on Sunday, August 17, 2025, with the deadline for Juniors that are interested in representing Jefferson-Morgan being February 28, 2025.

Furthermore, the Selected Representative must attend all events related to the pageant, meet all the publication deadlines on time, and they must also give $250 in sponsorships for the scholarship.

For those students interested in signing up for the event, they should go to the main office of the Jefferson-Morgan Middle/High School building before Friday, February 28
