Emma Frank is a senior and an aspiring neurologist.

Emma is involved in multiple activities. She even holds officer positions in most of them. She’s in NHS, Leo Club, Foreign Language Club, Science Olympiad, Envirothon, Big Brothers Big Sisters, cheerleading, track, and Penn State 4.0 Club. She recommends signing up for Leo Club, because it gives her so many opportunities to help her community. Frank has a lot of fun doing these projects with her friends and fellow Leos.

“I am the president of NHS, Leo Club, and Foreign Language Club. I’m the captain of the cheer squad as well as a four-year letterman. I’ve also lettered in track.”

Frank loves making memories in high school. Cheering on Friday nights has always been one of her favorite things. She loves the bus rides with her squad and the band. One of her absolute favorite memories is after homecoming when she and Katrina Schmolke went on the field and did the touchdown dance with her squad while still decked out in their homecoming attire.

Frank said, “I’ll always cherish the memories we made on and off the field.” During homecoming she said, “Walking out on the field was a lot of fun. It made me feel really good that my classmates voted me homecoming queen. It was such a great night. I really appreciate the wonderful night that I had, and I’m looking forward to coming back to crown next year’s queen.”

In her spare time, Emma likes to hug her dog and go on little adventures on the weekends. She also likes watching TV and movies. One of her favorite movies is Finding Nemo. Emma has a lot of advice for underclassman. She recommends students to make high school memories to look back on.

“Do all of the things! Sign up for that club, go to that game, do all of the things that make high school memorable because that’s what you’ll remember when you look back on it,” says Frank.

Frank loves the person she’s become, because she fought to be the person she is today. Her future plans are to study neurobiology as an undergrad, then go to medical school to become a neurologist.
