Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Katelyn Orndoff as its student of the month for March.

Daughter of Christina Fowler of Jefferson and Gary Orndoff of Waynesburg, Katelyn is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 3.34 GPA. She is enrolled in the EMT program at Greene County Career and Technical Center.

Orndoff is Majorette Captain for the JM Marching Band.  At the GCCTC, she serves asPolice Captain in her program.  She is involved with HOSA and Skills USA, where she placed first in Crime Scene Investigation.  She is an honor roll student at both Jefferson-Morgan and GCCTC.

Orndoff is a volunteer firefighter for Company 91.  She also volunteers at the Greene County Humane Society.

In the fall, she will attend California University of Pennsylvania.  Orndoff would like to pursue a career as a probation officer.
