The American Legion is holding an essay contest which you can be a part of and win helpful prizes for your future.  The topic of the essay is ” Do you think the US Military receive enough respect as they deserve?”

Any Jefferson-Morgan student from grades 9-12 is able to enter the contest.  Essays are due to Mrs. Herold before January 6.

The winner of the contest will be awarded a $3500 scholarship, a plaque and a trip to this years PA American Legion Convention in July where they will read their essays to the assembled delegates. The second place winner will receive a $3000 scholarship and a plaque. The third place winner will receive a $2500 scholarship and a plaque.
