David Morgan – Athlete Biography
David Morgan is a junior and a member of the Jefferson-Morgan football team.
Morgan is a quarterback and defensive end. “I play football because I needed something to do and the coaches at Carmichaels talked me into it.”
Morgan has been participating in football for two years. Just like many other Jefferson athletes, David Morgan is looking forward to the game against Carmichaels. However, he is looking forward to game for a different reason. Morgan use to play for Carmichales, so is looking forward to seeing all of his old teammates.
“I look up to Peyton Manning. He is a legend and I can learn a lot from watching him.” David Morgan also looks up to his father and uncle. “Both my father and uncle played in high school. My father had scholarships to play in college but a brain disease stopped him from playing.”
Morgan wishes to have a good season this year. He also offered advice to anyone who wishes to participate in football. Morgan said to just do the best you can.
