Sadie Fowler is a freshman and a member of the girls basketball team.

“I have always loved playing and probably always will. My family supports me in everything I do and that pushes me to go harder,” said Sadie.

Her family has a big part in the continuation of her basketball, giving her inspiration to continue playing. In her family both her uncle and aunt played back in the day at Jefferson also.  Her dad is one of her biggest fans.

“I personally prefer home games than away games. It is just more comfortable for me to play on my own turf. I also enjoy seeing fellow Jefferson Morgan students cheering us on,” said Sadie

Sadie is usually a post or a forward and her jersey number is 21. In preparation of the off season, she shoots as much as possible and even attends Nate Smiths Basketball lessons. Her go to people on the team are Jamie Lawrence and Kayla Yorko. Sadie is looking forwards to just playing and enjoying herself this season, even if it is for only a few moments.
