Gage Clark – Athlete Biography

Gage Clark is a freshman and a member of the golf team.

This is his first year being on the golf team. Gage participates in golf solely because he finds the sport fun and entertaining. The most important thing to him is to beat his opponent and the advice he gives is to, “Practice every day if you are able to.”

His best performance, in his opinion, is when the team and him went against Brownsville thanks to the fact that he shot a ‘44’.  Gage says that was one of his best rounds. He has also quoted that his father and Rory Mcilroy, inspires him to continue playing and to keep practicing at golf.

Gage’s goal is to keep practicing, try and slowly get better, and to continue playing golf until high school is over. He loves every aspect of this sport, even though he has only played for a year. He has said, “I really like the golf matches and I don’t want to stop.”

Gage has decided he will not continue to play golf after high school, despite enjoying it so much. Though he has said that he might want to consider qualifying for golf when he’s older, he is still unsure.
