Gavin Koratich is a senior and he is on the golf team.

“I lettered last year when I was a junior.” Gavin is looking forward to getting the chance to show everyone what he can do and also improve whatever he can. His specific goals for this season are to play the best he possibly can. “My best performance from last year would have to be when I shot a 42 that ended up winning us the game against Carmichaels.”

Gavin became interested in playing golf when his dad convinced him to play a round with him. He thinks that the most difficult aspect of golf is keeping a cool head when things are not going well.  In the future, Gavin plans on playing golf on his own.

“My favorite course would have to be the Greene County Country Club. The greens are challenging, it’s very well watered and it’s our home course,” Gavin stated. When asked about giving advice to other golfer, he said, “practice a lot before joining. You don’t just play golf on the team, you have to know what you’re doing before you sign up.”
