Brooke Weir is a senior and is on volleyball team.

Weir is a defensive specialist. A defensive specialist is someone that only plays back row.

“My favorite thing about volleyball is the cheers that we have when we score a point. We have a different cheer for an ace, kill, block, and tip”.

Weir has been playing for a total of six years now, including middle school. She likes to work hard and have fun with her teammates. The one thing Weir does not like about volleyball is the waking up early for tournaments.

“One person I look up to on the team is Jamie Lawrence because she is the libero. She is the best defensive player and I want to be as good as her “.

Weir started playing volleyball to have fun. She prefers home games because of the crowd. Her favorite opponent to play is Carmichaels.

“When we play Carmichaels it is always a close game. We beat them twice last year and I hope we can repeat that”.

Weir does not plan on playing volleyball in college.
