Savannah Saesan is a junior and a member of the volleyball team.

This is Saesan’s fifth year in volleyball. She has played since 7th grade. Her position is middle hitter and she loves the sport.

Saesan said, “It’s rewarding because it is a team sport and you can easily get connected and close with people. It’s a really nice experience.”

The most difficult aspect of volleyball, in her opinion, is when she doesn’t get to exactly where she wants to be. Saesan also hates making mistakes, but she always gets back up and tries again.

“I enjoy the individual and team aspect of volleyball. If I play well individually, then I will help my team out. I have to work hard and trust my team. We’re all working together for common goals,” said Saesan.

Her favorite experience while playing volleyball was when the other team over passed. She slammed the ball down, scoring her team a point.

Saesan says, “My goal this year is to be a better all around player and win sections.”

She is hoping for a great year with many wins. Saesan is hoping to letter this year as well.
