Girls Cardio Lifting Begins March 12
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:00 to 4:00 at the JM field House, Mrs. Kniha is mentoring girls cardio lifting . Girls Cardio Lifting begins March 12th. Mrs. Kniha started the program to help girls build muscle, improve sleep and posture, and increase general well being.
Exercise is more than just losing weight. Girls should feel good, work hard, and eat better. As prom season nears, some girls are not eating so that they can fit into a prom dress. It is not good to not eat. A better choice is working out and eating better.
Cardio lifting involves high intensity interval training with light weights to build lean muscle and exercise lungs and hearts.
Girls interested in participating in cardio lifting need a permission slip, clean shoes, socks, water, light weights or loops/bands if you have them.
