Greene County Reading Competition Set for May 14
The middle school team, “Gryffindor” and “Sirius Black and Orange” and the high school team, “Ravenclaw'” and “Slytherin” will compete in a reading competition on May 14th, 2019, at Waynesburg University.
Some of the books for the middle school team include:
• Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix
• The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind by William Kamkwamba
• El Deafo by Cece Bell
Some of the books for the high school team include:
• 1984 by George Orwell
• American Born Chinese by Gene Luen Yang
• Concussion by Jeanne Marie Laskas
