We know that college is a very rewarding process, but sometimes it can be very stressful. If you’re feeling stuck, don’t feel ashamed if you need counseling or just any help in general.

Starting college for the first time could bring on many emotions such as loneliness, feeling misunderstood, and even homesickness.

Many students find themselves struggling with new situations such as roommates, adjusting to new exceptions in school, and getting to know new students and faculty.

Although these things can be very intimidating to new students overcoming this can mark a start to a new beginning. As you start college for the first time always remember you are not alone, there will be tons of your fellow classmates who feel the same way you do. Joining clubs and organizations can help you to feel connected, understood, and may improve self esteem.

Just breathe. You only fail when you stop trying. Good luck to those seniors who plan on attending college after graduation.
