The Jefferson Morgan drama club is run by Scott Moore along with him being the director of the play. The drama club is working hard to prepare for everything with their show since it is just around the corner. The set is coming together and last minute changes are being made. The costumes are all ready and it is time for them to have dress rehearsals.

Shrek the Musical is about an ogre who was moved to a swamp to live happily after being feared his whole life. Then some fairy-tale creatures show up at the swamp after being evicted by Lord Farquaad. So Shrek makes a deal, if he helps get their homes back, they have to leave his. But then Shrek and Lord Farquaad also make a deal, he will give the fairy-tale characters their home back if Shrek rescues Princess Fiona from the castle. Shrek accepts the deal and goes off to save the princess. Throughout the journey, strange and different things happen.

This year the drama club will present Shrek the Musical. Moore picked this play because he wanted something fun and new and something that no one around here has done. They have been working so hard on this play since December. Moore cannot wait to watch it all come together and to show off the talent that is at Jefferson.
