Foreign Language Club
The Jefferson Morgan School District is proud of its students and teachers, who not only leads the way to success in academics but also activity and club wise as well. The students at Jefferson Morgan are very happy to be a part of a great program like clubs; they allow the students to plan, organize, and achieve certain milestones that help them achieve educational success in the future.
The Foreign Language club of Jefferson Morgan helps students understand and evaluate the cultures of certain foreign countries like Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, and any country outside of the United States. This clubs main focus is the study and acceptance as to what these countries are about. The Foreign Language club is open to anyone who is currently taking Spanish or has completed the course. The club is open and is available for students to sign up in the beginning weeks of Spanish class or when it is posted or announced to do so. The activities involved with attending the club are meetings, the annual Quincenera dance, and field trips related to cultures of foreign languages. The club also provides educational advantages, because students learn other Spanish cultures as well as developing knowledge of the languages associated with foreign countries.
Overall, the Foreign Language club is a great way to learn something new and is very interesting to some students to say the least. The students love to learn a new language and will be able to show off what they have learned not only in class but in the club with other students and teachers.
