Weight Room
A lot of high school students have trouble finding a weight room they can go to without the cost of a subscription but Jefferson Morgan has its own weight room and all students are welcome to use it. The weight room is a great place for students to challenge themselves and to get in shape.
“I use the weight room 6 to 5 times a week.” David Blaker said this after being asked how often he uses the weight room. Blaker is a student who uses the weight room to its full potential and works hard every minute he is in there.
Students often find that having a workout partner is best for them. Having a workout partner is great for the extra motivation.
“I have a workout partner for the days that I would need one.” Michael Metz said this after being asked if he had a workout partner or not.
When students arrive to the weight room, they are greeted with benches and machines. Choosing which one to use is all consistent with what workout the students plans to do.
“I use the machines more often just because I seem to get more use out of them.” Metz said this after being asked what he used in the weight room.
Students sometimes find that getting the motivation to go to the weight room is hard. Some students have confidence issues; others just simply do not have the motivation. Excuses are never going to solve the problem and the best way to get over any issue is by going to the weight room and just trying.
“I feel that more kids should use the weight room. Its great exercise and it helps relieve stress.” Blaker said this after being asked why students should use the weight room more often.
The weight room is a great place to get daily exercise in and build some muscle. Students are always free to come to the weight room and they might find that it is more enjoyable than what they believed it to be but a student should come with the right mind set and intentions.
