Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Katelyn Wolfe as its student of the month for May.

A daughter of Shara Dorsey of Rices Landing and Leo Wolfe of Jefferson, Katelyn is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 3.6 GPA.

Wolfe is president of the Class of 2018.  She participates in Foreign Language Club, Art Club, Leo Club and Upward Bound.  She was captain of both the volleyball and basketball (letterman) teams.  She played on the all-county team for both sports.

Wolfe volunteers at Rolling Meadows, participates in the backpack program, fundraises through student council, and places flags on graves.

In the fall, Wolfe plans to attend Waynesburg University where she will study biology with the intent to enter the pre-med program.
