As the fall season begins pumpkin patches begin to open. After World War II pumpkin patches began, even though jack-o ´- lanterns had already been popularized and common in the United States.
Duda’s farm is a popular pumpkin patch in western PA. Dada’s farm targets families and children to their farm. Their farm has many activities, other than the pumpkins, they have hay rides. corn mazes, face painting, pumpkin painting, and other activities. Each activity has a cost, so in order to participate in the hay ride, you would need to pay for a ticket.
When you pick a pumpkin you are able to buy that pumpkin and take it home. You can use that pumpkin to crave it, which is a family and kid favorite, or as decoration for outside. On top of picking pumpkins, you can also pick different types of vegetables, some of which include squash, corn, and cucumbers.
