Every year on the first Sunday of November, the clocks get set back an hour for daylight saving time.
The reason daylight saving time happens is so that people will make more use out of the daylight time they have. People would waste more time in bed during the day so clocks get set up an hour later at one point in the year to have more daylight and to conserve more candle use, but when fall comes around the clock gets set back an hour. The reason the time gets set back an hour is to save natural light.
