Cedar Point is located right on a Lake Erie peninsula in Ohio. Our school’s marching band made a trip to this amusement park last weekend.
Cedar Point features 17 different roller coasters.
“The Wild Mouse ride was very fun and Casey was scared at first but she ended up enjoying it,” said Karlee Crockard, the marching band’s announcer.
The park was opened in 1870 and holds numerous world records, like the only amusement park in the world to contain five rides that exceed over 200 feet in height. The fan favorite is the Millennium Force, or some would argue the Slingshot.
“I really enjoyed my time at Cedar Point and I would love to go there again,” said Casey Herrod.
Overall, Cedar Point is a very fun amusement park that features some insane thrillers and our school’s marching band had a blast being there.
