Perspective Matters
The other day there was players at the basketball hoop and they wanted us to shoot basketball with them. But the players wanted to go and throw softball. But the coaches wanted to shoot basketball so they all decided that yesterday they got to throw softball so today they get to shoot basketball. Then when we were done shooting basketball, some people wanted to throw softball. But the others wanted to continue shooting basketball, also we had to make it equal and not half and half. So then we did basketball the other day so now the people think that we should be able to do softball today and then basketball tomorrow. But the people didn’t want to do that, they only wanted to play basketball and nothing else.
So, the next day we split both sports up, and who ever wanted to play basketball they played basketball and who ever wanted to throw softball would throw softball. That is the way that we would always take care of things because if we didn’t take care of things then all of the people would just do what the people want to do and not do it equally.
Then when all the people were arguing about what sport that we were going to play like very day all the people said that “we never get to go and shoot basketball.” But we do even got to split the sports up. The all the people wanted t argue just to argue and we all told them that if they are going to argue then we will not do anything and we will just sit here and not do anything at all and just be bored.
